I went in 2007, the year of the small lake at the end of the road. My car has a closed frame with holes for access for different things to fasten to. It has a welded seam down the middle of the bottom which after much cleaning no longer turns white every time I run the hose in the frame rails. Took most of the new paint off of the ch***is the few times that I drove through the salt water each day. Now has a rust line down the center of the frame. l still have not figured a good way to spray Por 15 inside the frame rails to stop the rust, but I would do it again in a heartbeat if I could afford it.

Sprayed the underside of my 2005 GMC 2500 with this stuff before leaving for BVille in 06. Spent at least $30 dollars at the car wash in Wendover then sprayed Salt Away again when I got home. So far no problems.

Some of us are old enough to be wishing for a "stiff chain".

I've had my OT 2007 Chevy pickup to Bonneville 3 times. I always have it sprayed by the guy at Land's End on the last departure and hope for a good rainstorm on the way home. When I get home, I do the water sprinkler thing for 6 or so hours then go to the carwash for a good washing, spraying on the underside as well as I can reach. The next thing is to change oil from the 3000 mile trip and I give the underside a good once over while I have it up on jacks, cleaning any remaining traces of salt. I blow out the interior with an air hose and then va***m the carpets with a shop vac. I haven't noticed any rust brewing yet.
