Here is my 38 IHC project race/street. 6-71 blown efi 468, ported dart heads comp hyd roller, transbrake t400,35 spline 9 inch spool. I hope to run in the low 5's in the 1/8. 1.625x.134 mild steel double frame rail chassis kinda modeled after a friends pro mod frame.

  2. Dude, I love your car, and the concept. But, that roll cage is sketch man. There is no triangulation, and I would love to see that front kicker tube be straight rather than have a bend. Your execution on everything else is great, time to redo that cage to keep up with how fast that car's gonna be.

Alright, heres pics as promised! took the car to 23" crankshaft centerline from 19"(just for looks). Added the cage using 6"x6" 1/4" plate and setup for my 4 point harness, swapped my 3.55s for 4.11s and a mini spool and added Strange c clip elims and revised my ladder bar brackets, added the full roller harland sharp 1.8 ratio rockers and a few other things to the motor, and moved the tach up to a lil more visible place! and then the final product!

    My bucket.

Ran best of 10.2@132 with the old street 454. (hydraulic cam & TRW blower pistons) Car weighs about 2500 lbs with me in it so its no lightweight.

Motor suffered a meltdown so got replaced with a 540 & I refitted the old 671. Have a 1071 in the shed but theres not room behind the blower for the mag, as its too close to the firewall.

Once I have driven to the track, run a 9 in street trim and driven home without breaking anything, then I will have met my goals.

Sorry, I haven't sat down long enough to learn how to post pictures.
Here's an address to my 2dr. Lark wagon.

    http://public.fotki.com/-Mike-/60_lark/

It's been sitting like this too long but I have to finish another car first.

And as per the original request...it's currently licensed, registered and insured.
I figured I didn't want any hassle putting all the legal things back together to be able to drive it.

The only thing I havent figured out to make it "fully" street legal is the windshield wipers.
    The cage/chassis is NHRA legal.
