Features Who's Building a T?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Slimegreeeeeen, Nov 19, 2011.

  1. How about a shout out from everyone who i currently building a T?

Mine's a 26 T Coupe. It's gonna remain tall, but ride good and low, courtesy of a custom frame Z'd front and back. The drivetrain is a 425 Nailhead/Turbo 400/12-bolt from a Buick Riviera. The frame's being built in December and I'm hoping to have a roller by February. Here's some shots of it as it sits now.

X2 on the back pat for unchopped! Always sounds damn silly to me when someone refers to their "tall T coupe", and in the next breath says "it's chopped six inches..."

As far as "T" projects around the ranch here, I have my modified ('27) a customer's Archer glass bodied '23 touring done "T" bucket style, and eventually my '24 roadster done full fendered.

  9. BTW, Here are a few cars I look at for inspiration:
Mercury Charlies old T (black with the purple flames by Von Franco)
Stoner's Hemi powered T sectioned vertically by Tim Conder (majorly badass)
Wertheimer's Golden Rod (built by Von Franco)

After selling my '26, I've been taking some time off BUT my father has convinced me that we should start another build.
So, we're building a '23 this time and never selling it!
Just some tubing and and engine so far...
And the look we're going for.

  13. And to those that don't know, the Goldenrod clone above and the Anderegg tribute are both versions of the same historical car. One of my favorites!

My 1912 turns 100 next month and I want to treat it to a set of 30x3 1/2 Bufallo wire wheels.

I'd love to know your car's stats. I'll be one very happy camper if I can achieve a similar look.
