I'd gotten the impression that you had sold that car. Glad to see you still have it. Look forward to seeing more progress on it.

That view is amazing. Almost looks like a backdrop. Is that any chance at your house?

    Super badass T as well

  9. MY T ENGINE CU.jpg
About to order the 9" for my T. All the suspension parts are in from Pete and Jakes. We're going with a 3.50 rear gear and 10" X 2.25" brake package, all from John's Industries. The rear suspension will consist of a traverse rear '40 Ford style spring and a triangulated ladder bar set up. The 425 Nailhead reaches max torque at 2,800 RPM. With the 3.50 gears and a 30" rear tire, when the Turbo 400 is in third gear, the T should be at the following RPM's at these various speeds: 2352 RPM's @ 60MPH; 65 MPH, 2548; 2744 RPM @ 70MPH; 2940 RPM @ 75 MPH; 3136 RPM @ 80MPH; 3332 @ 85 MPH; 3528 RPM @ 90MPH; 3724 RPM @ 95 MPH and 3920 RPM @ 100 MPH. Should be a rousing ride for a relatively lightweight car (c. 2500 lbs.)

More re-building than building. I changed a few things this year- new front axle, blacked out suspension (well most of it), chrome shocks, new exhaust, raised the rear, new carb set up.

I would really love to see a T roof insert thread. I also wish I could post pics from this god forsaken phone.

Here's a picture of my '27 T Coupe project. When I brought it home, all the body panels were stacked up in the back of a pick-up truck. I'm hoping to get started on the frame this winter. There's a folder with more pictures of what I started with and the process of getting the body back together in my public profile.

  16. I've seen some pretty slick roofs pirated from minivans and grafted onto sedans. I believe Ricky Bobby's Rod Shop recently grafted one on a Sedan with a factory sunroof.

Here's mine. Gonna build it in some of a traditional sense. Everything execpt for the T-5 will be 53 and older. Have a lot of work left to do but you get the idea. Got some cool rare speed parts to go on yet too. Will keep you guys updated.
