Who's going to Bowling Green next weekend?

I'll try to be there by noon Sat., that is if we don't have a run Sat. before 8:00(we usualy do every time I have plans the next morning...just ask BenD).

I'll probably call you, HRLC, Fri. night or Sat. morning to see if anyone has a pass or two to spare if that's cool, like I said in the other post if I can get a pass I'll kick the 20 up to Ryan.

We should be at the park Friday am through sometime Sunday. Got to spend some time at FLEA WORLD Sunday and the water park which was free to everyone registered last year. Maybe I can work those in between rounds of nitro qualifying this year.

I just reread this post more carefully. I'm really excited to see a number of HAMB guys that I've "known" for years, yet haven't met in person yet, going. Please, please, please make sure you introduce yourself to me if I don't find you first. I shouldn't be too hard to spot in the purple Olds convert.

Greasy Rich!!! Your gonna have to get up at 0 dark-ass early to meet up with the Nashville bunch,in TN!! We plan on meeting up with others at exit 2, just cross the border in KY,at the Kracker Barrell at 8am. then the plan is to take hwy 31 to Seabass' shop to pick up Denise's blankie. The bridge"jumps" will tear out a straight axle front end, if you take I65 north of the border. We plan to take 31 all the way to Bowling Green,terrorizing all the small towns along the way prolly picking up some strippers for the weekend! Spark-O'- Mainiac

 

Does this mean that "Seabass" isn't going to make it to the Reunion? I had completely forgotten about that. Thanks sweetheart for not only remembering but for picking it up for me. Perhaps now we can all have a picnic on my blankie while at the show.

My son-in-law's moving to B.G. to work for Holley. He invited me down for the Reunion, but his house closing got pushed off a couple of weeks, so no place to stay at this late date. Next year, tho........................

 

There's drag racing there?? if so whats the classes and whats the pay outs ??? Ive been tryin to get my dad to go down there for this and if there's a good pay out that might work Is there a web site for it????????

My plane leaves in a few hours. 32 hrs until first round of top fuel qualifying. Al Schramm's Nitro Dragon left last nite with a full drum of nitro and ready to snort. These dang cars are pretty high maintenance so I don't know if I'll be able to slip away to the HAMB meet and greets or not but I'll try. Again, stop by the TF pits and introduce yourself. Well I for one would like nothing more that to get a up close look at one of the Top Fuel cars in the pits. I will make a point to come find you and say hi. ANd just in case you don't make the HAMB meets I'll steal a few of HRLC cookies and bring them to ya.

Be heading out early thu. Just sold my 30 Plymouth but I am still going to see the drags and the show. I missed last year and hated it. I will be in the campgroung in my little camper. If you see me stop and say hi.
