Start at the top....and work through till you find one from this.... http://www.westcoastcruise.com/Paso07Flyer2.pdf
Be there will I! And it would be nice to see more than 5-6 HAMBer's at the HAMB meet! I'm not saying....I'm just saying!
We leave my shop in Knightsen around 9am with a cool group of people that fly in from different parts of the country/world and a bunch of local people heading south. We usually haul the race inspired stuff in trailers with welders, compressors, jacks and all the other crap you sometimes need on a road trip. We cruise together, sharing our rides with the people that don't have their cars in country. We hook-up with other friends as we hit 580 then 680 to 101 and PASO. We always stop along the way for food and drink and that occasionan breakdown. We always make it in time for the cruise and that usually includes helping others on the road getting there. We will be in a group of three '26 fords, '37 zepher, '37 Chev RPU, '30 ford pu, '51 chev, '49 ford, '31 ford and others that we meet along the way..........can't wait..........but first the drags at KINGDON! Jerry Sezar
My wife and I as well as BuickinaBucket are going! Flying in on tuesday I think and staying 10-14 days. Not a better way to spend a 10 year anniversary than going to the show we tried to and didn't make on our honeymoon. Larry
WOW, 62 HAMB folks so far. Will be a great HAMB Meet and Greet if even half the folks attend. Can I ask a favor......when Muttley or whoever does the Roll Call/Meet and Greet thread, would you guys stick a photo of your car in your response so I can see who's driving what to the show. Here in the Midwest I kinda know who's driving what but I can't keep up with you fellows on the left coast.
Count us in.... Me the Wife and the Hot Rod... And let me tell you this... if one more old man calls it a RAT ROD, I am going to punch em!!!!
Yeah that sucks. Be there, no excuses. Who's going to post the pic of Groucho and Hon hugging and making up?
I am!! I'll be driving my '57 Chevy truck, it don't look like much right now, but I'll get there. Slowly. Hopefully. Hey, also, I'm looking for someone coming up from SoCal who can help relay the back half of an Model A-body (sport coupe) from JimA's place up to Paso. Anyone?
great idea Groucho..i am gonna start now for a show here in November.. then i will start to save money for Paso next year..
That's what happened to me, they get me to an event set up in a big circle and then tell me to look for the corner...Some one should put up a big banner that says something like "HAMB meet here." Either that or banners on all the other corners that say "HAMB meet not here."
Reggie, Norm, Kati and Jeff in their respective Mercs, Will, Chuck Jim Jard and his crew, Jason from Flyrite and me.......leaving on Monday and will arrive in Paso on Thurs. It's inspiring, can't wait for the road trip. We will report in, first stop for some of us will be a visit w/ The Duke of Wellington. Some of the others are heading to Tucumcari. Then on to Winslow to catch up w/ the rest of the crew that went to Tucumcari, then Rialto and then Paso. So if we are gonna pass thru any of your towns on the way, let us know and maybe we can stop to eat and hook up.
Hey, Scotto. I'm going too, and with an empty 8' bed on the back of my F-250. Looks like JimA's in Torrance, not too far from me. PM me with details, and maybe I can get the body to you in Paso.
It looks like my caddy will not be ready for the show, but I have plan B, the 41 chevy. So it looks like the chevy is going this year Brad
If ya need a place to bake cookies, I'll warm up the oven for ya. I been hearing about these things for years now .
