I need a beehive/finned/(whatever) oil filter, ya know, the ones that NORMALLY go on flatheads, strait-sixes and the like? A new one would be COOL, but I gotta get one CHEAP- I don't have $300 for that ****- So if you know of a company that HOOKS IT UP, Or ya got one yourself, Fill me in! (Oh, and for you guys that have 'em, I'd love ta do some "horse-tradin') Thanks!
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, it's Egay, but how does $9.99 grab ya? (Not finned or shiny, but original.) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34202&item=2451971383
I got a stocker for 50-53. That do anything for ya Is it worth 20 plus shipping? Email me. The only thing I need is a 292 Yblock -got one of those
Can you make one of those into a "full flow" like a modern filter?? I think I saw somewhere instructions on where to drill the block or something,or am I dreaming???? Thanks
Paul- I got TWO Y-blocks, actaully, Only problem is one has a 57 Ranchero wrapped around it, And the others got a 57 FAIRLANE wrapped around it... Yea, I thought about getting a "standard" one off of ebay, but I'd REALLY like to find somewhere that sells finned ones for a decent price...
Greazer, I don't know if they do or not. I'll take a picture of mine and post it in the morning if thats ok--TV
Dennis O'Brian (a fellow HAMBer), sells repo Hildebrant finned ones, Not a beehive style, but looks nice. I have one on my car. Takes a regular spin on cannister which is hidden inside. $175
