This car is listed as being at auction this coming Saturday, Mecum Kissimmee. The estimated $150-175K bid level is a bit on the shocking side.... https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0118-313114/1929-ford-hi-boy-roadster-pickup/
Me thinks some people get too picky regarding the 'right ' way a car should look in a T.V. show or movie. They are called entertainment, not factual and precise reference material. If you want precision you can't watch anything on the telly. In the Transformers movies is that what a transformer really looks like? Does a Delorean really have a flux capacitor or do we not watch the show because we know they don't exist? I don't give a shit what the car looks like, I get lost in the story. Dare I point out the car the Griswolds drove in Vacation. Was that period correct or, SHOCK HORROR, just built for the show? Lighten up.
Except Fonzi couldn’t ride it. It was too heavy for him, that’s why they got rid of it and he got the Triumph Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Fonzi didn't ride anything, he was afraid of motorcycles. I remember reading they pushed him around the set when needed, otherwise he just sat on the bike in scenes....
To refresh everyone's memory, Fonzie's motorcycle was detroyed when Ralph Malph accidentally ran it over with this very same car. Ralph 'fessed up and sold the car to pay for the damage. ...man, I watched way too much TV as a kid...
