Dang, we waited until about 7;15-7:20 and then we went back up to the bar closest to the front, near the gaming tables, and looked around there. Never saw a soul that looked like a HAMB member (you can tell, they all have this funny look on their face!). There has to be a better way for HAMB members to recognize each other when we get together at functions such as this. The HAMB badges is a good start, but we need somebody like Denise to organize our sorry ***es. Well, my sorry ***, at least! Doni, sorry to have missed you and those that did show up! It would have been nice to put faces to names. Maybe next year...
we met up with a few peeps Tuesday night- drank for tips(which was cool) . Nice to meet 'yall. I would have been glad to organize the meet and greet- no one asked. Be glad to do it for 2010.
Yeah Lenny, our waitress was great! It's amazing, because as the tips increased, so did the size of the free drinks! There was at least 8 of us sittin' there for a hell of a long time. (4-5 rounds) Sorry we missed the rest of you.
It was great to sit around and laugh and meet cool people. Thanks for the warm welcome and it does **** that people got left out. I nominate Lenny to be the organizer for next years HAMB meet and great at SEMA. Derrek

I feel like such an idiot! For some reason, I got it in my head that the Meet & Greet was fixed for Thursday night. Doooooooh! Next year, I promise to be more attentive to when Lenny sets up the howdy-doos. As I said, I'm such an idiot... Sorry I missed the opportunity this year to say hello to my HAMB brothers and sisters.
Well, at my age you just never know!!! But, I'm feeling good and we still have some of our daughter's inheritance to spend - so what the hell, I'm looking forward to it already...
maybe we should all look at staying at a hotel close to each other too... Not going back to Circus Circus after the screwed up my room charges 2 years in arow. Thinking Excalibur cuz they have lots to do round them... who knows? I got time to think about it

I was shocked at how many vendors were absent this year and the attendance even seemed to be down. I already gave my two cents worth.
