I am plumbing a power brake booster and proportioning valve for the old Ford, front disk brakes are next. Question: Which end of the under floor master cylinder (with remote fill as the fill holes no longer line up with the hole in the cab floor) goes to the front disks, and which to the rear drums? Is the front the end with the larger hole, about 1/2" or the smaller end with the 3/8" tube hole? Would be nice to know before I bend the steel tubing for new brake lines. Thanks Abe

The end with the large reservoir goes to the disc brakes.

    Thanks Jim, I'll try that.

  4. Normally, Jim is right, but yours with the remote fill appears to have equal sized reservoirs, so I don't know if it matters. I would go with the one closest to the booster for the front brakes, simply because that is the way the factory usually does it. The two different size connections is to prevent hooking a factory set-up backwards.

.....and the rear of the master is the end closest to the booster, not necessarily the rear of the car.
