Hello all! Newbie here from South Dakota. I've been sifting through this site for awhile now and decided its time to join. I don't have a project yet, but decided its time to start researching so I know what the end goal is. Like my profile says, I've been into customs and hot rods all my life. I will admit to having a short lived obsession with '60s and '70s muscle cars, but I was young, and grew out of it quickly. Please don't hold that against me. For the last few years, I've been into motorcycles (just like everyone else). Currently I have a 2006 HD Sportster 883 that I gave a mild bobber treatment to this last winter, a 2008 Victory Kingpin that will remain bone stock (one of them has to remain street legal, right?), and a 1979 Yamaha XS650 project bike that will eventually be a rigid framed bobber/chopper style bike. I don't consider myself a biker in any sense of the word, I just like wrenching and riding and hope to apply those skills over to building a custom or hot rod.
