Veach if you have a trans out of a 67 Cyclone it's a good chance it's a small input shaft top loader.
Depending on your launch rpm and traction your transmission will not hold up.
My avatar had a 306 small block with a Liberty prepped top loader. No synchros, but a stock small input shaft. It lasted 4 p***es before it twisted and cracked the input shaft.
I was leaving the line at 6500 and had a 9 inch slick. Now Liberty is building me a new input shaft made of 300 M steel.

Yes you can switch all gears between T10's but you have to use the corresponding input for whatever cluster gear you use. Ford Cobra's I believe used GM close ratio gear sets for racing. I am installing the Falcon wide ration T10 gears in my early Corvette case - just have to use a Ford clutch disc :)

In the early 70's I had a T-10 in my 57 Chevy, it had a Ford high nickel ge****t in it, used the Ford clutch disc.

I was just reading the Ramchargers book this weekend, and they (Chrysler engineers who were the Ramchargers) discuss their use of the T10 and how it wouldn't live behind their 426 wedge engines in drag racing, but the muncie would because the "muncie gears were 1.2 times the size (diameter) of the T10 and longer as well" (my close paraphrase).

T-10’s as well as other 4-speeds were all UNDER the torque of ALL the big block performance engines of the 60’s. If you hammered them….they broke. There were performance shops that knew how to help them live but they still broke behind these “stock” Fords, Chevrolet’s, Pontiac’s, and Mopars putting out 500+ hp high torque engines thru a less than a 400 torque trans. What really killed them were sticky tires….good luck but I wouldn’t race one today.
