I still gotta get these done:

    Figure out brakes
Cut out and install cowl and sides
    Weld Weld Weld
    Install steering column
    Install seat
    Build dash
    Do the Wire
    plumb gas and brake lines

    and some other stuff....

Got my 'ol timey hemi dragster running again with all 6 carbs. Made it to the 4th round at their last bracket race. Most of those kids don't like dragsters in No-E and they let me know it.

Got my 'ol timey hemi dragster going, all 6 carbs workin and made it to the 4th round at their last bracket race at Mo-Kan. Most of those kids didn't like the idea of a dragster in their No- Electronics cl*** and they let me know it. Hey I don't have a prayer against the super-pro guys with their magic boxes.

I would be thrashing but my 55 is still in the paint shop. I think Im going to have a repeat of last year, do as much as we can the night before we head out. I might still be slow but I will look good going slow.

Im not thrashing on anything. Just moved into a new house two weeks ago. Still messing with little stuff. The shop isnt no where near working condition. Still havent put a weight box on the front of the ghost yet. Damn houses!! Between fixing up my old house to get someone to buy it and moving all my junk and bla , bla , bla. Looks like the dragster is a no show this year.

ain't no way my 34 can be ready this year but I can always fall back on my non-traditional 46 chevy 4X4 pickup. It'll be there.

I took some vacation yesterday and spent the day at a buddies place (waldo39) working on his HA/GR project. This thing is going to be really cool if he can get it done. He's got a bunch of stuff done but has a long way to go yet. He started less than three weeks ago.

Yesterday we split the wishbone and got most of the front end sorted out, hung the rear end and got the engine mounts done. Bill's got an amazing shop. It was like vacationing at Disneyworld for rodders, simply a blast. I'll be back for round two next week. One benefit of this University job, two vacation days per month! :D

Next time I'll ask him if he wants me to post pics. I imagine he will but I should ask first.

Okay so Aussie Steve sent out a reverse idler and a reverse/ 1st slide gear. Picked up a used gear sector and all new bearings and seals, gaskets today. As soon as those gears get here from Colorado the thrash will be on to get it back together.
