Getting out in the garage beats sitting on your ass after eating! I invited one of my good friends and his wife over for dinner.(He just happens to be a skilled fabricator);). I'm getting the rear end set up in the '32, he's offered to help, our wives are planning to drink wine.

I lowered the convert some more, next is to change the master cylinder out for a corvette PN. Rolling around on the cold floor has me looking at lifts!

if all goes as planned I'll be frenching in the passenger headlight on the Chevy.Today I give thanks to the guy who gave me a set of 50 Ford tail lights for free!!!:D

  17. After I finish the venison, mashed potatoes, and other fixins... I'll be out in the garage turning wrenches. The disc brake kit needs to go on the front end, and I need to assemble the rear axles. I wish my bearings were here, so I could start knocking the motor together. Sigh. It'll just be great to have 4 days unfettered to get on it!

Thursday gonna eat and lounge. Friday gotta hang some outside lights for the wife, fast as I can. Then maybe head over to the car show at the stock show complex for the afternoon and evening. Then the rest of the weekend is mine, and I will prolly work on a 35 chevy 3 window for a customer...John

Puting new shocks in my Fury, should be a 15 min easy job. Then fixing the wipers in a '67 Vee Dub. Then im eating the turkey, then im getting drunk, then im passing out. Thats my plan all weekend, little bit of work, lot of slacking.

  23. Just repaired the gun on my welder tonight so I can get back to replacing floor pan pieces on the '57 this weekend.
The wife's daughter is here for a few days so time in the garage is sounding even better than normal.

We are having smoked Turkeys. mmmmmmmmmmmm

Good ol Thanksgiving, The time of year when my Uncles show up to tell me where all the cool untouched original cars are, for 300 to 400 bucks.... How the drag racing was in the 60's, and about the Cuda they had that would pull the front wheels on the street. All bull feces. Not a word of it is true. Same crap every year.

See, Im the only car guy in my family, and my family thinks this is what I want to hear.. I love'm..but..Its amazing the stories I will be hearing today. Like every Thanksgiving, I will be glad when its over, so I can have some time alone with my pickup. Still jacking with the headers.
