who's your hero?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by tomslik, May 2, 2006.

  1. Sir Jack Brabham, the only F1 world champion to win the drivers & constructors championship in the same year with a car of his own design. He recently turned 80.

Bob Rufi, 140mph on the lakes in 1940.

John Zappia, first legal 5 sec pass in a Top Doorslammer, he's not a big budget racer either.

car-wise my hero is bob higgins. guy is mostly self-taught with cars, builds them and fixes them himself. in our mopar club, he's one of the FEW that actually does work on his own car - and knows what he's doing.

he's also patient and teaches me shit about my car. between him and the HAMB i'm learning a lot.
