  2. I got the body pulled off of the coupe and on the floor. Checked the frame and made sure it is square. Now it's time to pull the front end apart.

Collected the Moser axles for my '32 from the shipper and stuck them in. Real happy with them and they fit perfectly.

Put a high-mount brake light in the back window of my '38 Ford Standard coupe. Not very traditional I know, but when it only has one taillight it needs all the help I can get to stop some ****head running into it.

I helped my girlfriend finish tearing down her '50 International. Then we started cleaning up the S10 frame that's going under it.

I picked up an old Mallory Magspark YC distributor for my flathead on an auction for $12. Its kind of rough, but I think I can get it cleaned up and working again.

I got the bad master cylinder curse so i could not finish the brakes on my 55 f-100. All was not lost I was able to get down on some well needed body work instead (even though i do not care for it). I hate it when a good day is wasted chasing down parts but I suppose it happens. ;)

I cleaned the chicken barn with the boys. Nasty job. Got a steering column out of the 54 parts car for Aaron51 and sold some other 53/4 Chevy parts to a guy from mid-Ohio to finish his resto.

Sounds like we need an event in Toledo, OH on Thanksgiving. There were at least 5 HAMB members in the area for the weekend and there are more that live around as well!

We also got the body lined up on the 54 Chevy truck with the S10 frame. Now to build the body mounts...

  8. Put in the newly rebuilt trans in my Merc (I know, OT), found out why the original slipped itself into oblivion (I can trust no one to work on my cars, even before I own them  ). Went shopping in the Loop on Sunday, then the goodness just exited. Today started with the wife berating me for how I am handling the ex in court; another driver moved my truck - left the ignition 'on', and the rest was downhill from there.

But my car sure shifted nicely....even at full throttle - just testing, of course...:D .

I finished welding the cab corners and filled the gas filler hole on my '60 F100.

Then, I went to see Guns 'n Roses at the Palace. Killer show!

  10. On Saturday I had to deal with a motor I pulled out of a parts car I cut up a couple of weeks ago. I seperated the motor and trans., striped all the parts off of it to make it a long block. Got it on a rolling cart and got the engine hoist put away back in the garage.

Sunday I prepped the backyard for the rain we got today, covered cars, sorted parts, raked leaves, and cut some firewood.

Got a lot done, maybe one of these day's I can work on one of the trucks.
