    Meh...those cars were $15 back then. It's one of the reasons they became so popular. Hindsight is always 20/20.

    I can remember going to the figure 8 races back in the 50's and seeing all the coupes getting smashed up then.I enjoyed the races but still hated to see the cars get all bent up even back then when I was a little kid.I think the race track ruined more coupes than WWII did with the scrap drives.

    Back then 3 windows were the cheapest of all the models. Most people didn't want to be seen in the cheap car. Sales man had three windows. thay had big trunks.

    I bet those guys thought they were pretty darn cool, driving thru brick walls and all. I was so shocked at the stunt at 0:44. It's clear that he wouldn't have made it. And the guy at 1:07, looks like he's pretending he's driving a Hot Wheels. The stunt at 0:52, imagine how scary that would be to be in the drivers seat of the car that was on the ground.
