Why am I burning up electic fuel pumps?

I'm actually switching out my racepumps setup for an electric from Aeromotive. The racepump isn't cutting it for my application, it's too sensitive to heat soak and vapor lock, even with a return line.

 

The RacePumps are junk. Check EBAY- there's a **** load of rebuilt ones all over that site peddled by the man himself- Howard Stewart.
I ran a couple of them- and trashed them when they left me stranded. Do a search on the net- lots of haters & very few lovers.
