Why are they called rocker panels?

    Spell police should be bammished from HAMB. :eek::eek: Hoodlums are not too good at spelling as they mispent their youth under various project cars...

    yse, definately Thomas Crapper. So comes the expression " this car is a piece of crap"

    Spelling doesn't have anything to do with using the incorrect word, he spelled it right it just has a different meaning.

    They are a panel that runs under the bottom of the car to deflect rocks ! Hense called rocker panels !
