This is a TRADITIONAL hot rod and custom forum. We only cover '65 and under cars built in a traditional style.

An old car on a Chevrolet Colorado ch***is is not a topic we cover around here.

    Sorry.

    There you go.

  5. Probably taking about some off topic options.
Those are kind of funny around here and don't really follow a set rule. Some ch***is swap threads stay and most go. Guess it depends on how the thread goes, drama, and options being discussed. S10 swaps are pretty much off topic , but Camaro, nova caprice mustang ll clips seem to be ok even though they are just as off topic.
    Don't take it personal.

Edit , a Colorado ch***is is really of topic.

Chevy tracker is also off topic , but if you were to post a pic of a bare tracker ch***is everyone would think it was a cool place to start. Flat straight tube ch***is , like you'd build if you has 2x6 tube.

Yeah I get it.. I actually swore I would never go the S10 route but now I am thinking it might be the most cost effective way and best driving option to do what I want to with my truck. It makes sense. It's funny how some of these guys try to act Oldschool on a message board and it takes less than a minute for some "traditional" hot rod guy to point out how you are violating the sacred Oldschool code. Hah....busting people's chops on forum with a laptop isn't exactly keeping it Oldschool but I get it. This is a good place with good information. I guess I need to learn the rules ha. Thanks for the productive feedback.

No, I don't think you do.

Using a computer to communicate might not be a traditional thing to do, in itself, but that does not contradict a desire to keep the content of this Website Traditional.

I bet that Sites like the HAMB and others that cover other kinds of subjects do amazing things to keep vintage trades, techniques and information alive.

And if an Old School HAMBer wants to point out to a new arrival that what they just posted isn't something that the Members of the HAMB like to see on it, and push other more valuable content down the pages,
    they have that right, IMO.

Although we do prefer the less Dramatic way, which is Reporting any Content that doesn't belong on the HAMB.

Yeah like I said... I get it. This is serious stuff for a lot of people. I'll consider my posts more carefully in the future.

    Yes.

If you'll make it to be an Old School HAMBer, by making a couple of years worth of On Topic and Relevant posts, you'll feel protective of the place too.
