Why do you go to shows & cruise in's?

  1. Provide a service for my customers. Without car shows and my customers I'd be a nobody. Well, maybe a someone.

If a car show has a swap meet, I'd likely attend.

My interest is really pre-about 1955 cars ... originals, old rods. Unfortunately street rods don't do it for me. So, a lot of the local shows aren't a big attraction.

I go to a small Saturday AM cruise-in to see my buddies. I don't care for too much organization. It's like a club meeting without all the meeting crap.

That's why I go. Or don't go. But, I'm very glad the hobby is very strong and that lots of folks are enjoying it ... it's not all about me.

Best car show/swap meet ever? Hershey in the early days when you wore rubber boots.

I just like going to them to talk to friends about cars.
