on the topic of "best tri five"

    in my opinion...

55 chevy 210 post done up street racer style (gasser for the street like Falfas..) i honestly dont like anyothers than 55 nomads

56 chevy 210s are my fav (or a 56 NOMAD,those were the best nomads produced...)...i just love the 210 trim( the belair hardtops look weird, too much action in the front and back but empty in the middle..again,my opinion, not just cuz i own a 210 post car ,hahaha)

but in all honesty,.,.if i had a 57 it would have to be a belair hardtop or convt,,and it would be totally stock, black with the red &silver interior,,i wouldnt***** with changing one of those 57's,.,,

... growing up my dad was heavily into tri five chevys and theyve always been a big influence on me,,,

one day ill own that black 57 drop top,....hahaha

I did this photoshop chop some time ago. This is some pretty serious body mods.. shortening, slight chop, lengthening the trunk area. [IMG]

If that 4dr is a hard top, i'd turn it into a 2 dr... Not because 2 drs are better (they are!), but because that 4dr HT roof is so friggin sweet. So a 2dr with that roofline would be something different..

I'll second that! (This coming from someone who has never had a strong affection for 57s!)

I agree... it looks ten times better with the stretched trunk like that. Pretty sweet looking for a '57!

The 57 is a legacy unto itself. One the sweetest set of lines to ever escape the bowtie nazis. There are some that can see beyond it though.Hell, look at the variations on the deuce .Personally though I'm a*****a for a 55 210.Too many nitro bong hit express nights with two lane back top I guess. . swaZZie

I'm partial to 55's...but love all 3 yrs..Just cant afford one!
Butt Reynolds 57 along w/Nads are the way i like them. I wish there were more like them.. I think 57's are very 'overlooked' and make killer kustoms...As you can see by some of the pics above like that black one.. But most guys do the typically 'Muscle' car look..wich is kool too but kind of boring to me..

My favorite all thru childhood. Now I prefer the 55's... then '56... THEN 57, they are a little too glitzy, ya know? The other two are more "businesslike." Business of hauling****!

Dont get me wrong, I'd totally drive the***** out of a 57 4 door beater...

Now, a '57 pontiac? yesss! those are gorgeous.

I gotta agree with ya', burndup! I drive a '57 Poncho 4 door hardtop and it always turns heads even with faded, checked original patina. I don't want to hijack this post into a Pontiac discussion. Just saw your post and had to reply. Pontiac, the other white meat? Anyone else know of the old R&C with the mild, blue, '57 Chevy on the cover? Damn, I miss staring at those photos.
