Projects Why is a `63 Avanti like a spittoon?

Beautiful car nicely done. I'm sort of a closet Studie fan,my dad had at least 2 when I was growing up. The fastest guy in my small town had a Hawk,no one could beat. I drove a USAF owned Lark driving Officers around our Base in Fl. My Favorite Uncle who lived in the north country of NY bought a new Stude and drove down to show it off. Great car till I opened the hood.WTF a SBC sat where at least a 289 should have been. That did it for me Never looked at another Stude quite the same way again till now. Good Work

 

That's a great looking avanti the blue is sweet. A friends of mine his dad has one he bought new. Still has it and restored it. Always thought those are a cool car. Enjoy it.
