No Muscle cars wanted, How about Max wedgw Mopars, 421 Super Duty Pontiacs, 406 Tri-Powerr Fords, Supercharged Studebakers, 409 Chevys ( also small blocks ) etc. The list is long. These were all Factory cars. The argument that after 65 all you had to do is buy a hot rod is bullshit. Many pre 64 were Factory built hot rods. The gasser craze in the early 60's became crazy in 65 with the Experimental cars ( alltered wheelbase ). 1965 was an awesome year for Hot Rodding of all types. Just look at a Hot Rod from that year. My 65 Fairlane is such a unique style that lends itself to customizing, Gasser t-Bolt you name it. If you want to keep muscle cars out then 64 aint even close....Kidd.

As far as I'm aware, its not a rule but a guideline.

Exept in the classifieds, and that had to happen because a very small number of people kept pushing the issue.

Since it is a guideline, there are going to be cool cars that we will like to read about that are newer than '65.
No need to try and list them all, its a waste of space and effort and you are going to forget some anyway...

And for the people that feel the need to debate this to death,
Re read the Sticky at the top of the Intro Page.
It should answer almost all of your questions...
