yes it's been around 15 years since i first met lance and helped him build that pickup. with it still being our most loved build. that motor still turns heads. how we got that 5 spd S10 trans to work without a spacer shocks many a mechanic, yes with a file and a cutoff wheel,
yet in these past roughly 15 years he and i have along with this PUP ,built his wild 33 roadster, rebuilt his 32 vicky with the nail head, that no longer leaks oil or to put it like any old harley rider would say, about a panhead marked it spot. (yes with gaskets sold by speedway under the name best gaskets you can tightly seal a nailhead, so zero oil passes between the head and block ) built the 29 real henry steel A bone sedan delivery he just sold, helped one of his teacher buddies finish the restoration of a 64 GTO convert, and now are doing another buddies 32 Todor sedan

LANCE is always thinking more about the next build, I keep saying it's past time to start trashing on SUEDE, it needs to be shown again . lets refresh that old 56 OLDS engine, swap in a 5 speed in place of that saginaw , rewire it, just do enough to make it safer and enjoy it, before this 77 year old mechanic leaves the earth for hotrodder heaven

Is Lance still on here? My brother bought his 33 Ford Station Wagon and is actually working on the thing getting it ready for The Gathering at the Roc. It's a great old survivor for sure. Wish he would bring Jersey Suede out for it.
