You still won't answer the question as to why it's off topic and keep trying to make it into something personal, something wrong with me. This could have easily been answered in your first reply.

I get it, the decisions to delete threads is arbitrary but you can't admit it, there are no explainable rules, therefore there are no rules. The refusal to answer one very simple question and make it about me personally, makes it perfectly clear.

What I am doing is not emotional, it is providing a service to those, including myself, frustrated by having their work deleted without explanation or understandable reason and asking for a clarification of the "guidelines" at the top of the forum so we won't make the same mistake again.

I fix things, that's what I do, this needs fixing, it's that simple. Yes, I can live with it and you're right, it's not that important, I just want to know what the deal is before I post tech threads. I now know, thanks!

don't sweat it, I ask myself daily about the value of any social media and why I participate.

Did you read the rules? If you did and if you understand them you will know that this place is about history . Re living history (1965 and back) and not breaking new ground. Simple as this, If it wasn't around pre 65 don't post about it. I am not saying you can't have airbags on your car, just don't make threads with airbags (or other post 65 items) as the main focus of the thread. Granted there were no 350 chev small blocks in 65 but visually they are similar enough to their little brothers. and there are other gray areas as far as the rules but this is Ryans place and it is the best damned traditional (think era correct) website around. Believe me when I say it is not for everyone and there are countless other pages that cater to modern stuff that is off topic here.....
