Those Glasic Model As were ugly repros to begin with when they came out in the early '70s. Think they were based on International Scout components. I've seen that yellow thing at a few cruises around here. It's hard to see in the picture, but it has a recessed area in front of the radiator which looks like a portable toilet. It's perfect to puke into after looking at that car.
I wish I had a pic of a car I saw at the Rosanky Swap meet last weekend... model A coupe that was widened to fit a studebaker (I think it was) front end. It made me want to cry. If someone has that pic... post it, it belongs on this thread. Alec.
This is some pretty basic design 101 type stuff. Certain qualities are astetically(sp) pleasing to the eye-balance, symmetry, etc. An inability to grasp these concepts would show either a complete lack of artistic ability or an unbalanced mental state. After seeing the evidence, I'd go with the latter....
