I don't know who to direct this to; why was my troubleshooting thread deleted?

Click the HAMB shield at the top of the page, when the new page comes up scroll to the bottom, just above the picures it says (view forum leaders) click it and go from there.

    Two mods pm'd, no response.

Anyone know a good forum for those of us lost between the "traditional" era and the muscle car era?

FWIW the only thing I can think of was that I made the mistake of mentioning what the engine came out of.

Sorry man, I didn't get a pm from you. Looks as though your post was deleted as it was pertaining to a 72 maverick... This is a 65 and earlier forum... traditional hot rods and customs.

So I did **** up by being specific as to the engine source.

The lump is in my 1963 Mercury Comet.

I only mentioned it being from a Maverick as since everything on it is stock to the engine I figured that would be pertinent information to fixing it.

So if I just refer to it as a Ford 250 am I safe?

If not under that reasoning any thread mentioning a Chevy 350 or a Mustang II suspension should be deleted.

I have no problem with rules as long as they are consistent.

And FWIW I feel a bit like a **** for getting so worked up about this. It's not my first thread to get deleted but the others I looked at in hindsite and realized they didn't really belong.

My car not running has me crazy paranoid aggro right now and I was getting some valuable advice in that thread.
