Travel safely all who plan to go - weatherman predicts ice in the morning.
Went and setup this afternoon - looks very well attended by vendors so far.
Buy the 2 day parking tickets ($7) if you are staying for both days.
    See ya'll there!

Thanks for the tip on the $7 two day parking tickets. Glad to hear there is a good crowd. It has been sold out for quite a while.

We will be welcoming my new nephew into the family this weekend...but since that is happening about 10 miles north of the coliseum, I'm hoping that my Pop and I can sneak out for a couple of hours.

Good time today! Not alot caught my eye but did score a mini bike frame, some 1963 chiltons books and a FORD 302 TUNNEL RAM SINGLE 4 BARREL for a future build. Also picked up a few moon discs. BE BACK TOMORROW FOR MORE FUN AND HOPEFULLY MORE FINDS!, You always miss stuff the first few trips past.

There were some good deals today! Picked up a Summit 302 block, crank and misc. with under 5000 miles for under $300. Also nabbed a set of 289 angle plug hi po heads with 2.02/1.60 valves for $100. Hope everyone in attendance got some good deals. NOW THE WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!

I had a good time, but didnt buy anything. looking specifically for a bench seat, didnt see many. There was a good deal on a 57 bel air in the arena. Lots more stuff than last year and talking to the sellers, buyers were buying more. Good signs.

Even though I was stuck with the pager Travis, our son, and I made it out there this morning. I got off pretty light. I picked up a junk mopar distributor for parts, some AN fittings for the digger and a cool little 4" dial caliper. Oh yeah, I also got a single slick from Tsquared. Nothing big jumped out and said "Take me home".

Had a great 2nd day at the swap meet - good foot traffic by our booth, lots of new members and folks hunting parts/cars or looking to sell.
A buddy came down from Junction City with his 12 year old nephew for his first swap meet. Blew the kids mind - he's got the disease now!~

I had a good time selling parts. Visited with gearheads that I see there every year. It was a buyers market, as far as I could tell. With the economy being down, I had to let my racing and hot rod parts go cheap to make sales. That's alright though. Always glad to help out a brother.

I noticed this on Saturday ALOT! Good on you and everyone else who was willing to take a little less to get people going on their projects. If it weren't for people like you being out there I would not have gotten such good deals and a big jump on my trucks needs. THANK YOU

  26. Didnt find a lot that jumped out at me either. Picked up a few nice items, and everyone was dealing on parts to make a sale. Thanks to the old timers Model A club for having the meet again. Now have to wait a month to go to the next meet!
