Is there any difference between wide five drums other than say front/rear? I want to set a car up with them but there is now some confusion about any variations as well as which backing plates work. Thanks !
As I understand it, the rear drums are all the same. The '36 hub will not work on later spindles but I think the drum will work on later hubs. The '37-'39 hub/drum combos are all the same. The '39 and later ford backing plates work with '37-'39 hub/drum combos.
