Wide Whites, who's happy with theirs?

  1. I'm using denman L78-15s on my lady's '52 caddy. I love 'em so far! Really good grip, and ride well! :)

This may be true for a fenderless hot rod, but I think it really depends on the car. My buddy's '50 Lincoln had skirts on the back and I always just assumed wide whites all around until one day he pointed out that he had SKINNY whites on the back! Even though you could totally tell once he said something, having looked at the car many times I was surprised at how obvious it was, yet I was oblivious. The skirts didn't hide how skinny the whitewalls were. It was just your eyes/mind tricking you!

Looks really fantastic!! I was wondering if you could share the tire and wheel sizes you went with? I have a '35 that I want to do a similar look with, and you've got the sizes and proportions perfect here!

  8. I got around to getting some magic erasers. I tried them out but the yellow is still there. It did take off the black scuff marks so not all is lost.

I did try them dry. Maybe i will wet the eraser a bit and see if that helps

  9. I've been extremely happy with my Coker Classic bias plys for 4 years now. HRP
