I bought Diamond Backs. They were installed on Cooper tires. Had them on 5 yrs before I changed the look of the car.
Ask ol' Evans or Mr. Dockery or Oscar Mears. They will all give you different answers then you can research it on your own and decide which ones you want!
I'll probably catch flak for this, but I've got 8.20X15 and 5.60x15 Firestone wide whites (bias ply) by Coker on my coupe. Been on there for 8 years, about 16,000 miles. They drive and ride great...hanging in there like a 10 pound booger. I couldn't be happier and I'd do it again. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I like my whitewalls to have black walls. those are the best ones to buy. you can get them at the tire store.
White walls are for show and not for putting on serious mileage. I've had two sets of Michelin black wall tires last 50k the first set, 54k the second set on a daily driver only vehicle '49 1/2 ton. Do a search for whitewalls as there are many here that like and use them extensively and have reported on which are the best value.
You can't ask "what's the best". The people that use Coker's will say that they are the best. The people that use Diamondbacks will say the same. This has been discussed many times on this and other sites. Search the site and you'll read some interesting things about the tires some people use.
Hopefully you have realized that being succinct when asking a question leaves a lot to the imagination. You are referring to 2 different tires, what the OP omitted, diamond back's are radials and Coker offers both radial & bias ply. HRP
