I'm looking for a 9" rear end to replace my stock rear end on my car. Does anyone know what the stock width is? I would measure mine currently but it needs to roll as it is going in for paint.

Any one know what would be the right rear end with the correct width would be?

Been a few years but wanna say between 57" and 58". 1957-'59 Ford cars and early mustangs are around 57" but narrower may be better if your lowering it.

Not sure of the '52 & '53, but the 54 is 57.25" wide. That is measured from axle flange to axle flange. A '65 - '66 Mustang is the same. I know because I just got a 9" for my '54 Customline.

  4. Same as early Mustang. That's what is under my 53 club coupe.
