Wierd or What

Has anyone ever done or heard off putting two Chevy 6 cylinders
Engines inline!
Just to make a long engine base for a funny car or ?
Just a thought

Theres been some done. But the most impressive that I saw was 2 (dint know the make) straight diesel six's with four turbochargers in a semi truck at Bonneville. What a monster! Normal Norman

As mart3406 said, Kay Sissel's "Sixsession" dragster was very successful, and absolutely beautifully exectuted. You can probably find it from Goggle images.

 

Yea I have seen dragsters with two inlines in a line. Our plan was or is to run 2 side by side.
