[ QUOTE ] Where do ya sit? [/ QUOTE ] I think it's remotely controlled and the shift lever is the antenna.Either that or you run along beside it and steer with the stick.Whatever it's neater n a peter!
maybe the shifter is hinged so you can pull it and leave it in the up right position when parked. That is cool.
That's very cool. I had an 8' hydroplane while I was in high school ('66-'68) It had a 10 hp Merc Hurricane outboard. Direct drive (no neutral) Was rated @15hp when up on a plane. I could get around 34 mph with it on calm days. It had a tank similar to that one...........
Yeah, it's pulled by the shifter handle that has a botton for the flame thrower, and has a small radio set-up, notice the antenna in the third pic. And for what it's worth, the LiL******* had neon underlighting too. The guy how had it was crankin the tunes, had it all lit up, and throwin flames, looked like the circus was in town...
The guy told me they were wheel barrow tires that were painted for the www look. It actully had some pretty cool hairpins and LiL quick change made by the owner too.
Please let this post drop off the front page or delete it. If neither happens I'm going to be searching for Merc outboards on Ebay. That thing is just too cool. JH
