Mine has a '74 Comet rear with new Yukon 3:55 gears and after market sway bar. Running a 302 roller motor with a 5 speed. I have Bronco rims, allows me to run caps and still fit under the fender skirts.
Attacking the body panels and finishing up chop seams. It looks good in its new home. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Alright, yeap it's been awhile however I'm back at it...sorry for the delay, finished a build(62f100uni) and got it sold now putting a lot of energy into the shoebox before summer slips away...also I've noticed alot of builds that started years ago have gone the way of the dodo bird. Some of us have been on the H.A.M.B. For years. If we can all sustain our builds and this sight can continue to have the flavor of good workmanship and hardline, old school vision maybe we can revive some of the lost/ dead builds I.e. "Flop,", Rusty's 47, even farmers 41 Plymouth from Sweden. Well there's my soapbox. Started to complete and finish welding the seems and hammer an shrink butt welds around window and left C pillar. Lots of worn thin metal reviled when welding seems. Had to fill and chase some nasty areas around the gutter I was able to save the left gutter however when I get to the right side it's pretty pitted and well...we'll see Next I trimmed the cap that sits on the top of the rear quarter. Lots of canaer in that seam and had to work around the lead that ford uses to fill, whatever? Still don't know why ford did that Eventually got it welded and built up enough to round and smooth it out More to come, now need to finish welding from the inside.
