Well the bottom line is this: As your total wheel diameter gets larger, your turning radius gets smaller, simple math. Can somebody answer if you will have "enough" turning radius left-prolly not, as everybody has their own opinion as to whats right. On my sedan with 6.00/16's up front my turning radius is less then ideal for sure, but I'll make due with it as thats the tire/wheel combo I wanted. Though I'm not positive, I think the 6.00/16's diameter is around 27"-28". The larger you go, the worse it gets
I run 19's on the front of the "Stupid Car" with stock A wishbones. The tire hits the drag link but only in very tight turns; not normal, go down the road driving. Don't worry about it!
....also, ....about "freeway speed" ... if you really wanna know the condition of your rims....have them sandblasted and then look for cracks, (before you decide to paint them), or just look for cracks....before any high speeding. Then like any other old wire wheel, I'll guess you have to keep an eye at them, every now and then. Other than that....your choice, go for it....19"...... / primerkid
