Projects Will 52 Ford front clip fit a 54 Mercury (

Thinking about this 54 Mercury convertible on an auction. It has no front clip or suspension.
I told my brother about it but I thought it'd be pretty hard to find a front clip for it so I ***umed it was out of the question.

My brother came back with, well you could put the front clip off of your 52 Ford on it.
I didn't think that was a possibility but now I'm reading that it can be done.

I probably should p*** on the Mercury anyway, it's quite a distance from home and I've already swamped with projects but I'm always open to new possibilities.

 

I had a 54 Mercury front clip on my 52 Ford convertible, so i dont see why not. You would be just the other way around.

 

I mean....itd be hard to p*** on a 54 Merc convertible

 

Fords had 6’s and Mercury’s didn’t so there are difference..
