Technical Will a 1940 ford 4 door firewall fit in a 1948 ford coupe?

Hi guys still gathering parts for the old ford. I was wondering if a 1940 ford 4 door firewall will fit in my 1948 ford coupe? Thanks

I am sure it would fit in the trunk . I would think that the firewall for all 1942-1948
coupe / sedan / and convertibles would be the same. Keep your eyes open for somebody parting out a 4 door sedan and you should be able to pick one up for a reasonable price , even if you have to buy a whole cowl to get one.
