will a 56 windshield fit a 55 buick?

im not sure if the 55 and 56 special had the same size widnshield. http://www.buickstreet.com/images/jeffs55special-side-open.jpg

I think that he 55 and 56 are interchangable but you must use one from the same body style. IE: Sedan to Sedan or HT/Conv to HT/Conv. I don't think a sedan ws will work in a convert.

'56 Special 4-dr windshields interchange only with the following, according to my Hollander's:

Buick 1954-1956 Models 41 & 41D 4 dr. sedan
1954-1956 Models 48 & 48D 2 dr. sedan
1954-1955 Model 61 4 dr. sedan
1954-1956 Models 49 & 69 Estate Wagon

Oldsmobile 1954-1956 Models 88, S88 & 98 4 dr. sedan, except
Holiday
1954-1956 Models 88 & S88 2 dr. sedan
