I decided a couple weeks ago that the lander would not be running by the Pileup. Will it even be together by then? We will see. I took this pic last night. The bodywork is all roughed in and in primer, except for the interior. I painted everything on the frame that isn't going to get painted pearl white with POR 15 and I finished welding and grinding on it for the time being. The motor has a new flex plate on it and I cleaned the tranny up too. I cleaned up and painted the motor and put on a new oil pan gasket, and pulled the bolt out of the bottom that I dropped in over a year ago on accident. And now everything you see in the pic needs to find it's way back on the roadster.
And now everything you see in the pic needs to find it's way back on the roadster. I would use a cooler instead of a refridgerator. My .02. Tim P.S. Nice.
The cooler is just to the right of the engine on the hoist. It has served me well in the past and will do so agian in the very near future I believe. I now have to find a truck to get it there too. I just found out that my buddy's tranny is going out of his.
Kind of, the windows are still busted, but most of the paint rubbed out, the headlight is still a little on the oblong side, so the bulb is loose in it. It runs and drives which is good enough for me until this winter! I told Plowgirl that she needed to ride up here with you this weekend.
I talked to Plowgirl on Sat. at the Drags and she was looking for flights. She wasn't excited about the extra travel days by car.
It'll be there I have faith in ya. The good thing about not driving it up there is we will have a truck to haul beer in!!! ill be up one night this week Ill let you know.
