Will I make it?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by goodman, Feb 1, 2006.

  1. Did he make it all the way?

I wonder how common it is to lose a front wheel bearing on a cross-country trip. Long trip, hot weather, probably one of the last things most would worry about. I lost one 4/5 of the way home and it cost $400 because of a $300 tow job.

    Thanks,
    Kurt

I'll be happy to eat my words!
Congratulations! Glad to hear you made it with a minimum of problems (I still wouldn't trust someone else's work enough to go cross country with it).
Ahhh, to be young again! That car would have crippled me!
