Whatever happened to Dave Williams and his Low Buck Tools? Can't find any links online - did he retire?

Good question. I haven’t seen his name circulating in awhile. Maybe gone the way of the mags he used to advertise in ,

Marty, do you know who bought it or if they are still making tools?

I ran across this thread today searching for the same info. Sad to hear Dave sold it. I assume to this mob? These tube notchers are the only items from their inventory I can find online now and Google search result titles show "Williams Lowbuck - Irvan Smith, Inc" https://www.irvansmith.com/scart/williams-lowbuck-m-54.html

    Cheers,
    Rob

Looks like he sold the business to his son or grandson. I just called to see if they can connect with him to "Gin" one up.

Just ordered one from the great folks at Jensen Ornamental Supply.
They are in touch with Dave Williams Son-in-Law who took over his business.
    Hope this helps.

Yikes! I just looked at that link and it took me to Iron Horse Auctions. Online retirement auction of lowbuck equipment starting Aug. 9, 2023 - Aug. 16, 2023. Sad to see this.

Nice. We still sell plate brakes and notchers but unfortunately due to parts availability and pricing we had to discontinue the bead rollers.

Is Dave still around? I haven't talked to him in probably 10-15 years. Great guy and full of stories from years back. Are you making and selling his louver press kits?

dave is still around he retired when I took over the business hes definitely got a lot of stories. The Louver presses and metal machine were something I had to discontinue due to lack of sales but I have been getting a lot of interest in them again so have been considering bringing them back into production.
