So I am a Willys Jeep kind of guy. BUT unlike the restoration guys or the off road guys or the fast tractor crowd. I am more of a Hot Rod Willys Jeep kind of guy. My Willys is a 48 2A Body with a 49 3A windshield on a 57 CJ5 frame and suspension. I am running the 134L 4cyl flat head .060" over head shaved .035" block decked .004" All spin balanced from the crank pulley to the pressure plate. It will have a Pierce 1500cc MG Weber DGV manifold modified to fit Weber 32/36 DGV carb DIY Header Electronic ignition etc. The clutch is a optional CJ5 9.25" from the 60's the ****** is a stock T-90 3spd. Transfer case is a 1.25" twin stick D-18 with a ATV 30% OD between the two, Dana 44 30spline flanged rear axle from a 71 CJ5 with 5.38's and an Eaton E-Locker 11" mid 60's Wagoneer Brakes all around. Front is the original D-25 Warn hubs. Saginaw 525 manual steering with a single drag link set up. Ididit Cl***ic column I'll be asking questions and trying to learn mostly about the Body work side of Hot Rodding. As that's the part of the process I am least experienced in. Here's a shot of my little 134L (I scratch made the aluminum parts) Anyway be fun to get involved in the discussion here.
