Hello, moderators. I posted a thread yesterday asking for help in locating original steel bodies and/or parts for patterns for new steel 1940-41 Willys parts. Today I see that it is gone. I can only assume it was deleted, but I can find no message or email telling me why. If it is against the policy of the HAMB forum to post looking for help for a project like this, then I apologize. Indeed, I am a moderator myself on Garage Journal, and I would never want to break the rules on the HAMB. However, I merely thought that the possibility that a manufacturer might starting producing new steel body parts for these cars would be very interesting and even exciting for HAMB readers. I was careful not to mention the name of the company, so it wouldn't seem like advertising. And I didn't think it would really be better suited as a classified ad, because I had hoped to start a dialogue with HAMB members who really know these cars. I have not yet convinced the mfr to actually produce steel Willys bodies and body parts, and I was sort of looking at this as a project, that many rodders and old-school racers might want to get behind. I see Brookville Roadster's name featured on here quite often, so I assumed that reproduction steel bodies were not a forbidden subject. If that is wrong then again, I apologize. Please reply so I will better understand what happened, and what the rules are on such things. Thanks in advance.
