  2. Thank you, JW but the car does have some problems, here in South Dakota we have that awful word that we deal with : RUST, so i do have some work ahead of my self. Swiss Cheese Footboards And Floorboard.JPG Trunk Floor Damage 1.JPG

  6. Hey 37willysgasser, Thanks for responding, Glove box doors I have, but my front fenders are in pretty tough shape, I have three set that I am going to try and make a good set out of. But they are a ways down the build so maybe I will find a nicer set later.

  7. Damn right they do JW. Saw a 38-39 willys coupe rodded ,not turned into a gasser like all the rest in West Oz last year, it was a hell of a good looking car.

  8. Its amazing how just the lack of the rear door hinges, door handle and the door line through the belt line makes such a difference. Its not like the other makes that have an extra side window on their 4drs or the longer doors on their 2drs, so subtle yet so different.
I don't think NZ got any two door sedans in the Willys line 38 onwards as I have never seen or heard of any, for that matter NZ got very few two door sedan period in the mid 30s on. JW

  10. Awesome 37 willys gasser, I will do that as I get farther a long with the build or as the cash follow allows, i'm guessing with the price of willys parts it will run me a few buck to buy some, that is why I have been collecting fenders as I find them. But one way or the other I am going to have some bucks in them weather I fix mine or buy a good set. I will let you know, thanks for the information will get back to you on how to contact you.

JW really not sure right now. Just glad to have it. We put fenders, nose and hood on it today. It's going to be sweet when it's done.

1940 WILLYS 2 DOOR ALL STEEL STREET ROD! I saw this one for sale. This is a very rare Willys. Here's what the owner says and some photos.

This is a real all steel Willys 2 Door Sedan not a cut up 4-door made into one. He's asking $35,500 but I have a deal where we can probably get it for even less, if he buys a 1934 Ford Victoria All Steel Street Rod I have for sale that's a lot more.
Call me if your interested. Chris 858-866-4661

Here's a picture of ours as of today sitting outside with the Mystery Willys.

  20. Hey Guys totally cool sedan ME.Gasser looks like a good one to start with. Just my Opinion but looks like a good one for a Gasser, very few sedan are done that way, lots of coupe, anyway just my 2 cents. Very Sweet 40 2 door also Antique Automotive sound like it could be a handful when the hammer is down. Well a small update on my Sedan with sharing the shop with 2 brother, mine has slowed down on the build, plus some need revamp on the shop, new heat and some needed roof repair has slowed me down. I have been working on my rear fender, radiused to except the 29.5 x 10.5 rear tires and get the rear end located for the final mounting. Got a call from a friend who I sold my Super ET 5 Spoke Wheels to years ago wondering if I wanted them back (daaaaa) jumped right on that so I have the wheel that the sedan will be wearing for the rest of it's life. So with the new tires and wheels and locating the rear end I have a small amount of work to do there, also ready to start boxing the frame. We get a fair amount of snow up this way so the new heat will be much nicer for the long winter build. Sharing the shop with my brothers for their builds will make it interesting this winter. One is doing a 65 GMC truck and the other is doing a 68 El Camino Gasser. Of course my sedan is in the inside stall so they have to share a stall for their builds, ( hehehehe). Any way there will be pictures and hopefully I can start a thread on the build as I get going on it again. Hope others are moving along on their builds, that is one thing about winter if you have the heat, things seem to get done in those long months.

  21. I got a 1939 Willys 2 Door sedan. It was a 2 door from factory. Got a 41 front end on it. image.jpg

The 39/41 Willys 2 DR Sedan is up in Pa. now. Well, actually, as of this posting (1-27-15), it is headed to Cape Coral Florida for a vacation. Then back up to Pa. in a couple of months.
I updated the front disc rotors from 9 inch Stang II to 11 inch aftermarket, and installed a set of retro wheels

I don't know the story on the post above #175 Looks like a welded up four door, modified drip rail. Anybody?

  26. I would say its a 37 which never came as a two door sedan and that would also account for lack of a drip rail. Cant be 1oo% on it being a 37 from that pic though. JW

This is my moms Willys, supposed to be an original 2 door clipper. But I guess you never know until you tear it down all the way 2013-08-24 15.42.45.jpg 2013-08-24 15.47.57.jpg 2013-08-24 15.48.11.jpg
