I have a 32 ford 3 window and the doors glass raddles. I have the U shaped rubber molding around both sides and the top but there is nothing to really hold the molding in place. The doors have a large cavaty that this molding is in and I can't figure out how to hold it in place. P.S. I got a Vin# from the DMV yesterday, I'm a happy camper Don
Roll down the window and use small counter sunk screws through the window channel into the fiberglass to hold the channel in place. Screw it in tight so it is below the nap of the window channeling so it doesn't touch the glass.
You need to have a metal channel that extends down into the door to hold the window moulding in place as the window is raised or lowered, otherwise, it will not stay in track. Here is a youtube link that generally shows what the channel looks like and the basics of how to mount or install it.
