My 1956 Sunliner came with the crank handle (pictured on the right) and broke. I bought a replacement (pictured on the left) from Dennis Carpenter and it's too shallow.
Does anyone know what type of crank handle is deeper (like the one on the right) and know where I could get a replacement?

    Thanks for the help!

Strange. Went thru all my junk handles and they are all the short version.

I’m sure you could find a nice used one on fleabay. I’m almost certain it’s not side specific.
I’ve never seen the short base though I’ve never needed to remove any of mine. I’d ***ume it would have the same base as the window cranks which I have seen on my car.

I’m guessing they are deeper on the Sunliner and the Crown Victoria because of the arm rest, on the other models the window crank sets right up against the door panel.
