Anybody have a link to a nice polished aluminum window crank knob? The 34 IHC we are working on did not have the knobs just the handles. I hate to machine one offs for it. I did a google search and couldn't find any other than modern black plastic. Thanks in advance.

    from Goshen IN.

There used to be available replacement knobs for G.M. window cranks(black and clear). They came with a press in rivet sorta thing. I think they are still around but dont know if they would fit your 34 IHC. Normal Norman

I saw a page for polished stainless and polished aluminum knobs awhile back, they had ridge turnings at the large end...very nice.

Can't remember where I saw them, but they are available.

If black plastic ones will do, Mid 50's F100 parts (Arizona) has them for '53-'56 F100s. They are black plastic, $6 each. Best you can get, as is the service there. I recommend them.

  4. Check out some cabinet hardware. Some of those knobs actually have a vintage look.

If those don't work, look on Ebay under Cal Custom knobs. They have black AND chrome ones and they're like 5 bucks a pair!
