Customs Window Cruisin'

Ok I posted this on the "why is cruisin dead thread". But I'll start a new one just so the original dosen't get jacked.
Ok call me retarded if you want and I now know I'm not the only one that does this. I call it "window cruisin" and to me it never gets old even though the wife laughs at me when I do. Ok I'll explain what it is. You find a good block of shop windows and cruise by nice n slow. You get to see your car in motion, looks too cool especially at night. Who else does this? Anyone have picks or video?

 

You need to put "picture thread" in the title somewhere.

To do justice to what your asking.

And while your at it ditch the "Custom" tag in the title also, any car can window cruise.

 

I do it all the time.....
Even better is having someone else drive yer car, so you can see how it looks going down the road from a "bystanders" point of view....

I'll will definitely get my camera in action next time I'm out creepin' around town with the gang.

There was a thread recently on the same subject. It was amazing how many guys do it. Thought I was the only one.

 

I plan on doing it all night tonight with the warmer weather, im going to film it and throw it up

 

I do it all the time and DANG I look good. HA HA HA!

 

I've done that many times, just never thought about getting a video of it......that's on my to-do list now for the coming cruising season ....

Awsome can't wait. It's only about 10* F here so no cruisin yet besides the chevy is under the knife.

 

it is even cooler when there is a good echo from the exhaust bouncing back from buildings.

 

WTF that is too funny my daughter told me about doing this when she was like 9 years old. I do it all the time and every time I do I think of her sitting beside me cruzin with her dad. It has been quite a few years since we have cruzied together but the memories live on each time.

 

I still have that video of You, Lee and your best friend George in Lee's Vicky from about 15 years ago!!!! You Homo's were giggling like school girls everytime you cruised by the the windows in Whitby!!!!!

Too cool! When i do any visual changes to my binder the first thing i do is go window cruising. I like to see it in motion. I will take the camera next time.

 

It's even cooler when you are on a motorcycle.

 

Maybe that's the reason I got rear-ended when stopped at a traffic light. I thought it was just another idiot driving while on a cell phone...

 

Ha ha that was closer to 20 years ago! Man I totally forgot that was on tape. George ...let's not go there jeesh

 

We did that as kids way back in the late '50s and early '60s.

Thought I was the only one, reflection makes the car look "sinister"

 

Never really noticed. Too busy makin' the glasspacs talk and echo. I'll have watch next time after the snow melts.

...I;ve done this since the first day I started drivin,...don't matter what kind of vehicle I'm in...it just becomes a habit.
...if you havn't done this, try it, you'll get hooked, just don't run into somethin while doin it.

 

we laugh about this all the time, we have a few good places in town. The ones by stop lights are better, you can stop and stare at your self. hahaha

 

That's why you drive down though the middle of town isn't it???? Always a big part of cruising for me.
